The shortlist for this year’s INSIDE award has been revealed, and Australian projects are in the reckoning for the top prizes.
Held in Amsterdam from 4-6 December alongside the World Architecture Festival, INSIDE is where the global design community meets to be inspired by the best in interior design and architecture from around the world.
Over the course of three days INSIDE recognises people, projects and developments that are changing the face of global interiors.
Judged by more than 20 distinguished designers and editors from across the globe, shortlisted finalists across nine categories will present their project in person to international judging panels.
Following this, one lucky practice will win the ultimate award of World Interior of the Year.
Several of the ten Australian projects that have made the shortlist have already made serious achievements in the Australian awards circuit.
The University of South Australia Cancer Research Institutes by Swanbury Penglase and BVN, won the Jack McConnell Award for Public Architecture and an Award for Interior Architecture and the SA Architecture Awards, while Ian Moore Architects’ Redfern Warehouse received a Commendation in the NSW Architecture Awards.
