The Billionaire That Is Changing The World

An hour of exercise every day can power your home.

Or so Manoj Bhargava, the founder of Free Electric hybrid bikes, says.

Bhargava, an Indian American billionaire, believes in the value of working together to create a growth solution to both preserving money expenditure and helping the environment.

He has proven that with his invention all you have to do is exercise for one hour, and your apartment will have consistent power for 24 hours.

When the user pedals on the bike, the spinning actions drives the flywheel, which then turns on a generator and charges a battery.

Whilst this is initially directed at rural areas receiving power, the concept wouldn't be too far from urban cities.

“What some people may not realise, is that half the world, over 3 billion people, either have no electricity, or electricity for a maximum of 3 hours a day,” said Mr Bhargava, “so I thought, human mechanical energy is so amazing and efficient, why don’t we just use that?”

The power crisis is Bhargava’s main aim, and whilst this isn’t targeted at home-owners saving money, it is clearly on the right path and trajectory for it to be a reality.

With Qantas Frequent Flyers rumoured to be awarding points to those who exercise more, exercise and the environment is seemingly at the forefront of the public’s mind.

Manoj Bhargava is worth $4billion USD, and is dedicating 99% of it to getting his visions completed.
