Melbourne developer Caydon are set to their intentions to Moonee Ponds.

Caydon recently acquired the $650m former market site and area with the intention of building a mega development, in an attempt to set Moonee Ponds as the next best thing.

The development is set to include not only residential apartments, but also retail and corporate space.

This is one of the latest acquisitions of old sites in top areas, that are being rebuilt into prime residential zones, to match the demand of inner-city living.

The site is located at 40 Hall Street and 34-36 Margaret Street in Moonee Ponds, and it is set to include close to 1200 apartments.

Having been negotiated by CBRE in conjunction with JLL, with the sites total measurements amass to around 13,400 square metres

Caydon are proving to take ownership of top suburbs of Melbourne with a serious intention of preserving the suburb's character and vibe.
