Relaxed coastal living and refined, luxury elegance have a new home at 30 Esplanade Brighton, where developer SC Land has revealed a collection of residences architecturally designed by Wood Marsh with interiors crafted by interior design specialist, Kendra Pinkus.

This collection of 24 incredible three-level townhomes boast a visual connection to the water and an unflinching devotion to quality. In what is an absolute rarity in Melbourne’s new property market, each home has been fully built and completed ahead of the public launch.

Ensconced in a private enclave just moments from Brighton’s famed beach boxes, the ‘golden mile’ of properties, Dendy Park and a handful of the state’s most elite private schools, 30 Esplanade is an address with immediate distinction. Only 16 minutes from the city centre and overlooking Port Phillip Bay, this oasis is the embodiment of modern seaside living.

Designed with distinction to reflect the coastal location in which it sits, 30 Esplanade’s curved and textured facades are sculptural and iconic in nature. Scalloped and fluted concrete cladding creates a bold yet refined statement of architectural significance, whilst a series of timber convex and concave curvilinear details mimic the form of seashells.

Renowned for its marine application, teak timber was specifically chosen as the feature exterior material given its tendency to silver and grey over time, just as a pergola or decking would fade in the warm sun’s rays and summer sea-soaked breeze.

30 Esplanade is the culmination of years of careful planning and collaborating between master craftsmen, architects, interior designers and SC Land, who have spared no expense in creating the ultimate bespoke and contemporary environment.

The moment residents step foot into their elegant new home, the unprecedented attention to detail and celebration of master craftsmanship is obvious.

From the hand-blown oversized feature glass door handle by master glass smith, Mark Douglass and the individually-crafted entrance lighting features designed by Wood Marsh, to the custom designed and manufactured wool carpets created by Steve Clayton at Artoz Rugs and Carpets, SC Land has collaborated with a host of artisans and designers to deliver a number of bespoke elements crafted exclusively for 30 Esplanade.

Designed with the form and functionality of a free-standing home, each residence spans three levels, featuring 2.9m high ceilings, full-height double-glazed windows fitted with European ‘tilt and turn’ hinges, which allow residents to customise the window opening to suit, recessed metal blind pelmets and a high-level security and intercom system.

Expansive kitchens are complete with marble benchtops, Gaggenau appliances and a second steam oven, abundant storage, fully integrated timber veneer cupboards and joinery, concealed built in fridge and pantry. Feature timber batten ceiling and joinery continues the design language of the exterior inside the home.

The residences also feature master suites with expansive walk-in robes and a stand- alone bathtub, with Wood Marsh’s scalloped exterior detailing replicated in the custom vanity and cabinetry.

Each bathroom also offers under floor heating and beautiful rain shower heads.

Outside, each boasts a fully-landscaped courtyard while upstairs an expansive roof-top deck offers endless summer entertaining options and for many, water views.

The homes have been tailored to appeal to a distinctive luxury market, which is why SC Land has taken care to hide any services with feature cladding and architectural details. While internal windows between the garage and ground floor entrance, create a ‘showroom garage’ that aims to feature, rather than conceal, the owner’s car.

“Our goal for 30 Esplanade was to create a collection of residences with distinctive architectural integrity and presence. Each detail, from the exteriors to the interiors, right down to the materials, fittings and fixtures, were carefully considered and individually curated to appeal to a an audience who value genuine design and building quality.” says SC Land Director Lance Chu who has a Masters of Architecture from Harvard University.

This sincere attention to detail continues to receive recognition.

Having already accumulated 20 prestigious awards including top honours from the MBA, HIA, UDIA, AIA and Property Council, SC Land is confident 30 Esplanade will resonate with owner occupiers.

“We design homes that we would like to live in ourselves with architecture, interiors, fixtures and fittings that captivate and aspire to the exacting standards of their inhabitants.”

Guided by the principles of beauty, serenity, comfort and quality, each individual aspect of the residences has been personally crafted, refined and perfected by a team of master craftsmen, artisans and technicians.

“Our purchasers place great value in the physical and in a market replete with off the plan projects we wanted to wait and give purchasers the opportunity to genuinely experience the grandeur and attention to detail of 30 Esplanade for themselves.
30 Esplanade features 24 luxury three bedroom plus study townhomes ranging between 235sqm and 300sqm and priced from $1.95m.
