Construction on Silkwood by Silkari's brand-new display apartments and townhouses is now complete. The development team welcomes both potential purchasers and the local community of Pagewood to join them on the 25th and 26th of May for the luxury project's opening weekend.

One of Australia’s leading independent property economists, Dr Andrew Wilson, has described Pagewood as a ‘postage stamp suburb’. It is set for a resurgence of buyers, thanks to its low-density homes and access to modern conveniences.

“Pagewood is accordingly set to emerge with a distinct and unique neighbourhood flavour that will enhance its already clear sense of a settled, primarily residential location,” Dr Wilson says. “It provides an affordable option to rival established, high-priced nearby suburbs such as Surry Hills, Redfern, and Randwick.”

Visionary has expanded its apartment and development brand, Silkari. It now includes tailor-made lifestyle services featuring handcrafted furniture collections and interior styling packages. And, in an industry-first, there is even a concierge app which grants residents instant access to housecleaning and dry cleaning services as well as airport transfers.

By mid-May, new homeowners will move into their Silkwood by Silkari residences, located on the corner of Page Street and Holloway Street. The development provides 37 three and four-bedroom townhouses as well as a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments plus penthouses.

The townhouses are one of the first of their type in the area. Both growing families and downsizers will be drawn to this low-maintenance and lock-up-and-leave style of home without sacrificing space and a village atmosphere.

For this reason, Visionary kept back a number of townhouses from the market as its first release sold out in near-record time. Now, one of the townhouses has been fully furnished and styled so homebuyers are able to inspect and see exactly what they will be purchasing. Several apartments are also furnished for homebuyers to inspect, including one of the four-bedroom penthouses.

Visionary CEO, Michael Guo, explains how he wants to build Silkari as a standalone property and lifestyle brand — which has never been attempted before.

“The ethos behind Silkari is basic – it’s about the way today’s generation want to live their lives in a personalised environment, within specially designed homes that offer more than just four walls,” Michael says. “So we decorate your property, furnish it, then cater to the ongoing demands of living within it.”

“It’s about elevating your surroundings and experiences and taking the hassle out of everyday challenges. We have elegant homes and hotel suites which have been extended into an elegant style of life.”

When the first residents move into their new Silkwood homes, their concierge app will already be active. They’ll be able to reserve the communal rooftop barbecue areas for private functions or allocate elevators for moving or delivery needs. This is complemented by on-site personnel who take on traditional estate management tasks such as accepting delivery packages.

The Silkari furniture packages are tailor-made for each room within a Silkwood by Silkari home. Each piece is crafted to be the right size for the room it is intended for, whether that’s the living room, dining room, or bedroom. The suites include the Stanhope Collection, Laurel Collection, and Reserve Collection.

Meanwhile, Silkari Interior Styling is an optional upgrade package which will transform your property into a true home. Features include wall and window dressings, soft furnishings, ornaments, wall art, customised lighting, soft finishes such as cushions and throws, and homewares and manchester items including mattresses, linen, towels, and pillows.
