A new development in Richmond is offering successful buyers to take flight over Melbourne in their own hot air balloon.

Pica, the latest development by Crock Group, is not only offering a beautiful design-orientated living experience, but also a trip across Melbourne…in a hot air balloon.

Soaring over the clouds, it seems the purpose of this attraction is to see the sheer size of Melbourne, and to see where the buyers new home will be from the air!

Apartments feature astounding views from every angle, including from the upper levels over the MCG, sweeping aspects across the CBD to the west, Richmond Hill to the east, Collingwood and Yarra Bend to the north, and the distant Dandenongs to the east.

Developer Damian Crock, of The Crock Group said: “The hot air ballooning industry was born in the City of Yarra and every operator had at one point its headquarters in the City of Yarra.”

Also CEO of a leading hot air ballooning company, Crock says the launch of the building will tie in with the 30th anniversary of commercial hot air ballooning in Melbourne next year.

“It’s a great theme to pick up on,” he says. “With its history, this pocket is a really significant part of Melbourne.”

Paying homage is a distinctive montage across the building’s façade by award-winning graphic designer, David Pidgeon.

“It’s a subtle but striking graphic of cloud formations and the faintest impression of hot air balloons,” Crock says.

Designed by award-winning architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke, the focus is purely on views and amenities. Completely understandable, considering the great location of the land.
