Established in 2014 and with an impressive portfolio of over 18 sites, Aqualand recently broke their record with the sale of the last remaining penthouse at Blue, so-called due to stunning harbour views, at Lavender Bay.

The residential property located at 61 Lavender Street, Milsons Point, made news when Aqualand sold the first penthouse for $9m — the highest amount paid for an apartment in this prominent Sydney North Shore location. And just over a month later, the Australian company has broken their record with the $10.5m sale of Blue’s last remaining penthouse.

The head of Aqualand’s sales and marketing, Alex Adams, has expressed the developer’s joy with the sales. He thinks the North Shore prime property market remains resilient — which should be no surprise since this location was recently voted Sydney’s most liveable suburb.

While the penthouses have sold, there are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom configurations available in the luxurious building. Designed by award-winning architects, PTW, Blue’s northerly aspects have mesmerising harbour views and buyers can choose from a selection of four colour palettes to make the residence uniquely their own.

Shared spaces include an expansive glass-ceilinged entrance, featuring a marble floor and brass joinery, while the lobby impresses with a cylindrical brass chandelier and plush banquet seating.

Showcasing expert design skills, Blue’s sandstone podium connects the building to its natural surrounds, as well as the neighbouring heritage buildings. Set in a suburb full of Victorian Italianate mansions and secluded parks, apartments at this new residential building are a unique offering for the discerning buyer.

Alex Adams says, “Blue at Lavender Bay will bring the very best that Sydney has to offer regarding location, lifestyle and design. The existing structure at 61 Lavender Street is optimised for generous space and unparalleled views, and we are looking forward to creating a new Sydney address that exceeds all expectations. The development of 129 luxury residential apartments and 4 premium retail lots promises uncompromising quality. The best fixtures and finishes in the market are complemented by an exceptional customer sales experience — defining factors that our customers have come to know and love about Aqualand.”

There’s no better place to take in the harbour views than Blue at Lavender Bay. Home to some of Australia’s favourite artists, Lavender Bay is a popular lifestyle destination. And now, for the first time, buyers have the opportunity to enjoy Sydney life from what is sure to become an iconic Sydney Harbour landmark residence.

Sub-penthouses with three bedrooms and three bathrooms are still available for sale, starting at $4.1million.

Construction has already commenced for Blue and it is scheduled for completion in 2020, while a new immersive sales suite opens later this month.
