The Kinnears Rope Factory stood in disuse for years before R&F Property Australia took on the site. With a vision to transform it into a revitalised and productive master-planned community, R&F Property is working extensively with Heritage Victoria to ensure the project meets the board’s requirements.
Live City makes up stage 1 of the Kinnears Rope factory site, and consists of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments for a range of homeowners, from first-time buyers to investors to both new and established families.
Now that stage 1 has been released to market, the Live City team is hosting a neighbourhood barbecue. R&F Property recognises the importance of community connection. The free BBQ will include coffee, canapés and crepes for the adults and toffee apples and lollies for the kids, plus free activities including balloon animals and performers in themed costumes.
Guest speaker Lovell Chen will discuss the important heritage aspects that played into the project’s architectural design, and how the laneways and brick structures have been incorporated into the fabric of the building. Other speakers from R&F Property will take the time to introduce the team, and afterwards attendees are welcome to hang around and ask questions.
The most valuable aspect of a great suburb is the people who live in it. All are welcome to join the Live City team for a free BBQ, drinks, live music and activities for the whole family. Learn more about R&F Property’s vision for the heritage Kinnears site.
