While parks are naturally stunning, they also have the ability to positively impact physical and mental health. And at Central Park in prestigious Malvern East, residents will have an 18-hectare reserve as their backyard, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens connected to their homes.

The lush gardens and balconies which enhance each of the carefully crafted apartments have been landscaped by the renowned landscape architect, Jack Merlo.

“The move to an apartment has added benefits of security and lower maintenance but people wouldn’t necessarily want to give up having a gorgeous leafy garden outlook and functional outdoor areas,” Jack says.

“That’s why we’ve made sure each of the ground floor apartments has its own generous courtyard and garden spaces.”

“We’ve designed everything so the open plan living rooms will extend and flow seamlessly out to the courtyards. Many of the bedrooms also have direct access to terraces and outlooks to gardens as well. The backdrop of green is something you’ll appreciate from every apartment.”

Composed by the visionaries at Ewert Leaf, the project’s façade has been inspired by the idyllic address where verdant views present themselves from every aspect. Working to visually emulate the nearby reserve, copper shingles reference autumnal hues alongside the warm textural patterning of brickwork and the smoothness of soaring concrete.

Central Park’s spacious open plan interiors have also been forged with a connection to the natural surrounds. Upon entering the home, it’s clear each area has been carefully curated with features such as floor-to-ceiling windows, high ceilings, and gallery-style walls.

Residents will lead a life founded on premium oak floors procured from George Fethers & Co’s Urbis collection. The soft, muted tones create a refined handcrafted aspect to the interior design.

New Age Veneers is the leading supplier of high-quality and environmentally responsible reconstructed timber veneer — one of the reasons the development team used their products. Earlwood from the Navurban range features in the project’s built-in robes, adding a layer of depth to the master bedrooms.
