Construction commenced on Stage 3 at Northbourne Village

Construction is well underway at De Burgh, the third stage of the Northbourne Village precinct.

JWLand, developer and builder of Northbourne Village, has completed various construction milestones just this year. These include completing 40% of the level 3 basement pours, starting the first suspended slab pour for the level 2 basement, installing 35% of precast columns in the basement, starting to build three out of five lift shafts for the entire project, and 85% of bulk excavation.

So, what’s next for the exciting new apartment development?

JWLand’s construction team revealed that several project milestones will be achieved at De Burgh by the end of Q2 in 2024. This includes the completion of bulk excavation, all basement concrete slabs to be completed, work to commence on the ground floor transfer slab, and 600T of reinforced steel to be installed across the project.

At this stage, construction completion is expected for the second half of 2025.
