With an exclusive collection of 20 custom-designed residences in the middle of Malvern East, Central Park offers contemporary living in luxurious house-sized apartments.

As trusted partners for the last 15 years, acclaimed Melbourne developers Roulston and Buxton Group lead Central Park’s formation.

A family-owned development team, Buxton Group has over 50 years of experience. Richard and his daughter, Samantha Buxton have followed their passion for innovative design to create a company renowned for their excellence in the residential, retail, and retirement sectors of the Melbourne property market.

Together with Roulston, their intuitive local knowledge of Malvern, Armadale, and surrounding areas, and ability to foresee the wishes of those seeking to enter these esteemed suburbs, results in Central Park — a project that is ingeniously considered from all angles.

In collaboration with Architectural studio Ewert Leaf, the façade is inspired by its namesake opposite, resulting in an idyllic development, where verdant views present themselves from every aspect.

Subtle references to nature are depicted through elegant planes, a stately form, and an earthen palette of materials. These, in conjunction with copper shingles and warm textural patterns in the brickwork, perfectly create a suite of contemporary, yet established homes that exquisitely mirrors its natural surroundings.

Inside, residents will be treated to spacious, open-plan interiors in a selection of 2 or 3 bedroom options. Each reveals innately generous and palpable features like floor to ceiling windows and doors that allow ample sunlight and uninterrupted views of the peaceful park. High ceilings and expansive, gallery style walls accentuate these spacious surroundings.

The development features custom joinery and materials from the best local and international companies. The kitchen benches and splashbacks are hewn from hand-selected natural stone from CDK, while rich carpets and warm oak floors fill the living areas.

Miele appliances, a butler’s pantry, an integrated wine bar, and a fireplace complete a home exuding understated luxury, providing infinite moments of rejuvenation.

“What residents will love most about the design is the quality of the finish and the generosity of the living spaces,” Says Simone MacGinley, Associate Director at Ewert Leaf.

“It’s a very high-end product, and it’s somewhere buyers can feel proud to show visitors and friends.”

In the master bedrooms, leading manufacturer New Age Veneers delivers high quality and environmentally responsible reconstructed veneer to Central Park’s robe joinery. The selection of ‘Earlwood’ from their Navurban range, exhibits a sophisticated cool tone. In keeping with the rest of the residence, it is chosen for its enduring quality and refined aesthetic.

Renowned landscape designer Jack Merlo has also collaborated on this project, elevating the homes through a refined selection and layout of greenery.

“We’ve designed everything so that the open plan living spaces flow seamlessly out to the courtyards, with large sliding doors that provide direct integration," he says.

“Many of the bedrooms also have direct access to terraces and outlooks to gardens, so a backdrop of greenery is something you’re able to appreciate from every room.”

This botanical oasis continues into the 19 acres opposite in Central Park — and residents can enjoy all that it has to offer. Amenities fill every corner, including a playground, a bocce court, a scenic running track, and Victoria’s oldest conservatory. Whether it’s enjoying the summer sun or embracing the crisp winter air, Central Park is a backyard unsurpassed.

Heritage homes proudly line the surrounding streets, with trendy restaurants, wine bars, and sought-after retail institution right on the doorstep. It’s a community-rich spirit felt throughout.
