Something remarkable is happening in the Southbank Arts Precinct. The Andrews Government has committed to spend $1 billion, part of which will be spent transforming the Carlton & United Breweries into a world-leading contemporary gallery.

Within this new hub, you’ll enjoy open spaces, fine dining, live music and performance areas, as well as the existing Arts Centre and National Gallery of Victoria.

The opportunities continue, with City of Melbourne having plans to turn Southbank Boulevard and Dodds Street into pedestrian thoroughfares. Active public spaces dedicated to the performing arts, and new walking and cycling paths, will connect this area to the Domain Precinct, where many of Melbourne’s most iconic landmarks sit — such as the Shrine of Remembrance.

It’s here in Southbank that FOCUS Melbourne, the latest project from local developer Central Equity, is making its home.

Pioneers of inner-city living, Central Equity has leveraged their decades of experience in the property market to create FOCUS Melbourne.

Since 1987, the multi-award-winning Melbourne developer has sold thousands of homes and apartments. For over 30 years, its team has been able to deliver a collection of contemporary apartments with a focus on livability.

Ian Carkeek, General Manager — Product Design at Central Equity says, “When you step inside these apartments, you’ll notice they have a terrific sense of space. Our latest designs include 2.7-metre high ceilings and full-height windows, so you can enjoy all that wonderful natural light.”

Living areas have been designed for maximum comfort. Apartment windows are double-glazed, ensuring better energy-efficiency, lowered bill costs and better acoustic properties — a factor Central Equity believes is essential to comfortable apartment living.
