The community of Wyndham and residents of Frasers Property Australia’s project Life, Point Cook, will soon have access to a fresh food market heralded as the west's own version of the iconic South Melbourne markets.

Recently approved by Victoria’s planning tribunal, the plans for Starr Point Market include 93 stalls. There’ll be a mix of fresh fruit and vegetables, butchers and seafood stalls, as well as a variety of hand-made arts and crafts, clothes, and home goods stalls.

The market will be built on Point Cook Road, just minutes from Life, Point Cook in the next 18 months. Residents are perfectly placed within minutes of the new foodie destination, making grocery shopping a convenient affair.

“We are really pleased for our Life, Point Cook residents that they will have such easy access to good quality food at market prices,” says Sarah Bloom, General Manager – Residential Victoria, Frasers Property Australia.

“We can’t underestimate how important it is to have the opportunity to eat well as a way to improve people’s health and wellbeing. A fresh food market adds to all the other liveability measures we are incorporating in this landmark development to give residents a well-balanced lifestyle.”

Just a half an hour drive from Melbourne’s CBD, Life, Point Cook has already proven extremely popular with buyers. The project is two years ahead of its planned completion date, and Frasers Property is now selling its final land lots and townhomes in the growing community.

“We have some great incentives, especially for first home buyers, including $10,000 deposits on a limited number of land lots and townhomes,” Bloom says

“Life, Point Cook is developing a close-knit community, which is extremely rewarding to see. Now, with the fresh food market so close by, there is even more reason for people to love living here.”

From future planned wetlands and expansive open spaces to a frog-themed playground and park, the new neighbourhood offers a balanced lifestyle just 4km south of the Point Cook town centre. Upon completion, more than 1,600 residents will make up this vibrant community.

“We are in the final stages of the project and we want to see the community reach its completion sooner rather than later, so it can continue to grow and thrive,” Bloom adds. “Any buyers who have been considering Life, Point Cook should speak with our friendly team.”
