The UDIA VIC 2014 Awards were announced last week, with Little Projects coming away with two of the UDIA’s most prestigious awards.

Little Projects won awards for Tip Top Brunswick East and ILK South Yarra at last Friday’s Award luncheon at Crown Palladium. These two awards have cemented Little Projects as an iconic lifestyle developer.

Tip Top Brunswick East was awarded the 2014 UDIA VIC Urban Renewal Award for the redevelopment of the former Tip Top Bakery site into a master planned lifestyle precinct of six unique buildings.

Michael Fox, Managing Director of Little Projects, explained that “since launching the development in 2009, the team has worked closely with project architects RotheLowman to ensure the site’s striking heritage was maintained, while creating quality, contemporary living.”

“We are honoured by this achievement as it recognises our efforts to rejuvenate one of Melbourne’s heritage icons for residents and the broader community to enjoy,” says Fox.

Tip Top Brunswick East has also now been nominated as a finalist in the National UDIA Awards which will be held in 2015.

Little Projects’ Tip Top Brunswick East redevelopment also won the Australian Property Institute 2014 Heritage Property Award earlier this year.

Little Projects’ ILK South Yarra was the joint winner of the High Density Development Award.

Located at 277-229 Toorak Road, South Yarra, ILK sits only moments from the infamous Toorak Rd and Chapel St intersection, where high-end shopping is only a few steps away.

Michael Fox continued, saying, “the project had been one of the most succesful for the developer, with the award proving it set the bar for quality multi-residential living.”

“We are immensely honoured to have both Tip Top Brunswick East and ILK South Yarra recognised for excellence in urban development at this year’s UDIA Awards” said Fox.

Little Projects now has four more projects near their award winning Tip Top Brunswick East development; including The Seeds, Live Brunswick East, Silo Apartments and Malt.
