Developer Kokoda Property is gearing up to regenerate one of Melbourne’s most exclusive suburbs with Malvern Collective.

Set to transform the broader community of Malvern, the 4,714 sqm site will introduce new dining, retail and commercial outlets to the area, including two stunningly designed apartment buildings with communal facilities to rival five-star hotels.

“The project marks an exciting development for Kokoda, which is set to reinvigorate the southern end of Glenferrie Road in one of Melbourne’s most sought-after suburbs,” says Mark Stevens, Managing Director of Kokoda Property.

“We pride ourselves on developing projects that are lifestyle-driven and offer people more than just a home. This brand-new Malvern community precinct will do just that, establishing a community where everything is within reach – from transport and cafes, to private schools and multi-use social spaces.”

Among over 250 residences, Malvern Collective will feature 10 retail spaces and a complete restoration of the Angel Tavern — a local legend reborn.

Here, the award-winning studio of Technē, known for designing some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues, has created a place of relaxed sophistication where residents and visitors alike can enjoy a meal with friends, or a long weekend afternoon in the sunny beer garden.

Running through the centre of the regeneration project is Station Place, designed in line with Melbourne’s celebrated laneway culture.

“Under the Malvern Collective precinct plan, Station Place will become a vibrant, contemporary space,” adds Mr Stevens. “We plan for an artisan bakery, organic food store, health and wellness centre, boutique cinema, and much more.”

The project’s laneways will also increase functionality for up to 3,000 commuters traveling to and from the easily accessible Malvern train station each day, making the daily commute between the leafy suburb and CBD a breeze.
