Mirvac Group have just announced a new 800 home residential development in Doncaster.

Tullamore Doncaster, located on a site that Mirvac Group purchased in 2011 has only now been announced as a new large-development. The development site was previously the 47 hectare Eastern Golf Course, and will now become the foundation to over 800 homes.

This new community, which will be sold off-the-plan, has already garnered some early interest, and is set to introduce a new concept of living to the East.

Within an exceptional landscape, steeped in history and adorned by nature, this outstanding residential community sits nestled in the midst of the highly sought after established suburb of Doncaster.

Just 13 kilometres east of Melbourne’s CBD and moments from leading retail, education and transport hubs, outstanding living awaits.

“We have designed a truly one-off community that will be home to discerning purchasers living across a mix of architecturally-designed homes, terraces and apartments,” said Mirvac Group Executive Residential John Carfi.

“Equally as important, Tullamore will unlock this former golf course site, its tree-lined fairways and parklands for the whole community to enjoy.”

Over 9 hectares of Tullamore will be recreational, free and open areas such as parks, playgrounds, parklands as well as walking and cycling tracks. Pre-existing trees, some that are decades old, will remain, and the development will adapt around them.

“With a commitment to devoting more than 20 per cent of the area to public open space, a six star energy rating for all built form, and Mirvac’s signature contemporary architectural style, Tullamore will offer a lifestyle unlike any other in Doncaster,” Mr Carfi said.

The site will become active in the middle of this year (2015), with construction commencing in 2016, with the first round of residents due to move in late-2016.
