These days, the options are endless when it comes to purchasing an off-the-plan development. That’s why, for many people, it’s the amenities that cement their decision, and turn a two bedroom apartment into a dream home. Because, when you think about it, how often will you come across a house that comes with a golf simulation room, cinema and pool?

A new development tucked away in the buzzing inner-city suburb of Abbotsford, ‘The Park House’, has all of the facilities that make you wonder whether you’ll ever need to leave. There is a member’s lounge to kick back and relax, as mentioned above: a golf simulation room to help practice your swing, a cinema, gym and sauna, children’s room, pool, meeting room and even a bike workshop to service your wheels, and connect you with cycling enthusiasts within the complex.

It’s the little touches like these that create a sense of community, and explain why buyers are rushing to snap up a one, two or three bedroom apartment on offer.

"The Park House offers a rare opportunity to live on the banks of the Yarra in an oasis of calm with stunning views. With a unique juxtaposition of tranquil riverfront living and bustling urban lifestyle, The Park House will go beyond the boundaries and set a new benchmark for apartment living,” explains Sam Tarascio, Managing Director of Salta Properties.

“We are only in the early stages of the project with 127 apartments reserved and sold already, which reflects that we are building strong momentum. There are a range of different-sized apartments in The Park House, which means it is suited to owner-occupier and downsizer purchasers as well as discerning first home buyers and investors."

Split into two avant-garde complexes, ‘Residence A’ will feature 236 apartments, while ‘Residence B’ will come with 303 apartments over 9 levels.

All of the two and three bedroom dwellings come with car spaces, while a car park is included in most of the one-bedroom apartments.

The development is designed to reflect the surroundings of the Yarra River below with the use of natural timbers blended with concrete, while a folded facade, accented by shaped podiums and sculptured balconies will ensure maximum views.

The grandeur will continue once inside, with interior design by Carr Design, who has combined a range of materials including timbers, metals, polished plaster and granite, creating a sophisticated palette of textures to suit every mood.

Every facet of this luxurious apartment complex has been considered and catered for using only the highest-quality materials and features, for example each apartment comes with top of the range Gaggenau appliances.

While TCL Landscaping is responsible for the outdoors and will focus on re-invigorating the area with indigenous trees and plants.

Residence A will have a shared garden to soak in a dose of nature, while Residence B will come with an upper and lower deck to entertain, featuring a barbecue, pergola and seating.

As for location, The Park House is next to the iconic Skipping Girl Vinegar sign, and is a very short walk away from the Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, as well as The Capital City Trail which runs along the picturesque Yarra River and connects through to Richmond.

While there are plenty of public transport options nearby, as is Melbourne’s major arterial roads, the eclectic Victoria Street, and a range of top schools and universities.
